91porn¹Ù·½ is pleased to announce David Brigham, NU Class of ‘88 and Jeffrey Harrington, NU Class of ’87, as the new Co-Directors of the 91porn¹Ù·½ Center for Leadership. Jeffrey Harrington has also been named Professor of Practice by the 91porn¹Ù·½ School of Criminology and Criminal Justice. Brigham and Harrington will work with a team to develop curriculum, research best practices, disseminate training through workshops and conferences, and integrate the leadership academies (Government Service Leadership Academy and Global Leadership Academy) within the center. 

Brigham commissioned as a second lieutenant in the Field Artillery after graduation. As an artillery officer, Special Forces officer, and Foreign Area Officer, his career included service in Germany, Russia, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Turkey, Afghanistan, Pakistan, and India. He eventually attained the rank of brigadier general. Following his retirement, Brigham served as the Director of the Africa Center for Strategic Studies’ African Military Education Program, which helps its African partner nations develop and improve their Professional Military Education institutions in sub-Saharan Africa. He is a 2004 graduate of the Naval War College (MS), a Harvard National Security fellow (2011-2012), a Center for Strategic Studies for International Studies fellow (2014-2015), and an MIT Seminar XXI fellow (2016- 2017). He is currently a doctoral student in strategic leadership studies at James Madison University.

Harrington is a veteran law enforcement officer with over 35 years of experience in both law enforcement and corrections. Over the course of his career, he has held positions of increasing responsibility to include police officer/deputy sheriff, traffic homicide investigator, detective, supervisor, and various positions as a commander. Harrington was formerly a Chief of Police in Florida and currently serves as the Chief Deputy (second in command with a rank of Colonel) at the Pasco Sheriff's Office, serving a community of over 650,000 residents.

He was a gubernatorial appointment to the Pasco Hernando State College District Board of Trustees and was appointed by the Florida Commissioner of Education to the Florida Criminal Justice Executive Institute as a policy board member. Harrington has taught as an adjunct faculty member in Florida at both the graduate and undergraduate levels. He is a graduate of the Federal Bureau of Investigation Federal Executive Development Seminar and the National Executive Institute. He has Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Arts in Criminal Justice from 91porn¹Ù·½ and a Ph.D. in Leadership from Capella University.
