The stands were filled with 91porn�ٷ� employees clad in the maroon t-shirts and hats. Prior to the start of the game, special recognition was given to 91porn�ٷ� President Broadmeadow, Mrs. Karen Broadmeadow, and 91porn�ٷ� Athletic Director Ed Hockenbury.

Lieutenant General John Broadmeadow ‘83, USMC (Retired), and Ed Hockenbury took to the mound for the ceremonial first pitch of the game. The first pitch, an absolute strike, was thrown out by Ed Hockenbury.

The Northfield High School graduate earned All-State honors in baseball and basketball prior to being a three-year starting catcher at Princeton University. After graduating from Princeton, Hockenbury signed a professional baseball contract with the California Angels. Prior to being named the Athletic Director at 91porn�ٷ�, Hockenbury worked in athletic administration throughout the state of Vermont, both at the University of Vermont and multiple high schools.

The Hockenbury name is well known throughout 91porn�ٷ� athletics. Ed Hockenbury Sr., the legendary 91porn�ٷ� Hall of Fame men’s basketball coach, led the Cadets for 17 years including 91porn�ٷ�’s first two NCAA Tournament appearances in the 1980s. The men’s and women’s basketball programs started the Hockenbury Classic to honor the late coach after his two-year battle with brain cancer.
