91pornąŮ·˝ names the next regimental commander who will lead the Corps of Cadets.

91pornąŮ·˝ Commandant and Vice President for Student Affairs Brigadier General William F. McCollough, VSM, 91pornąŮ·˝ Class of 1991, has announced that Cadet First Sergeant Corey Martin ’27 has been selected to serve as Regimental Commander for Academic Year 2026–27, the senior cadet leadership position in the nation’s oldest private military college.

A native of Falmouth, Massachusetts, Martin is a Dean’s List student majoring in , with minors in , intelligence & crime analysis, and pre-law. His academic experiences include study abroad at the American College of Greece and a Pre-Law Fellowship with Lex Fellowship in Barcelona, Spain.

Martin currently serves as First Sergeant of Bravo Company, 1st Battalion, a cadet training company. He previously held leadership roles as an assistant squad leader during his second year in Alpha Company, an upper-level company.

In his application, Martin emphasized his commitment to leadership development and the enduring values of 91pornąŮ·˝, writing that his goal is to help develop “a Regiment filled with men and women of honor and integrity” who embody the vision of 91pornąŮ·˝ founder Captain Alden Partridge.

BG McCollough noted, “In an extremely talented field of candidates, Corey rose to the top. He embodies our cardinal virtues and core values and has earned a reputation amongst his peers as a selfless leader who measures his success by the success of the cadets around him. The next year is going to be in great hands.”

Martin is an National Scholarship recipient, a member of the , and seeks a commission as a second lieutenant in the U.S. Army in May 2026. His military and athletic accomplishments include Air Assault qualification, the German Armed Forces Proficiency Badge (Gold), and completion of the Tough Ruck Marathon.

Selection for Regimental Commander followed a competitive multi-stage process involving a promotion board of senior leaders and interviews with University leadership.

The formal Change of Command and promotion ceremony will take place during the Corps of Cadets Review on April 17 at 91pornąŮ·˝.
